The sequel to the popular zombie game Dying Light has been delayed until 2022. This delay is due to the developers wanting to make sure they are able to deliver a quality product, as well as giving them time for player feedback.
The dying light 2 delayed again is a game that has been pushed back until 2022.
Dying Light 2 has been postponed until next year, according to publisher and developer Techland. The open world zombie game had been scheduled to debut on December 7, but we’ll have to seek elsewhere for our Christmas dose of undead killing.
“The crew is making steady progress with the production, and the game is approaching its conclusion. We’ve finished the game and are now playtesting it “According to a statement from Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka, the cause for Dying Light 2’s latest delay has been revealed.
“It is, without a doubt, our largest and most ambitious endeavor to date. Unfortunately, we’ve discovered that polishing and optimizing the game to the level we want would take more time.”
The revised release date for Dying Light 2 is February 4, 2022. In the lead-up to launch, Techland will continue to provide information about the game and its features, which should make the lengthier wait a little easier to bear for those of us who were expecting to spend our Christmas vacation parkouring and punching zombies in the face.
Next month, journalists and content producers will be able to get a “closer peek” at Dying Light 2 and what The City has in store for us.
