ArcheAge announces that it will end the game’s current early access phase on September 18th, a full four months before its official release date of November 3rd. “We’re excited to share this with you today,” said David Hoffman, CEO of XLGAMES in their announcement video.
ArcheAge outlines date for land rush and new times for instance entry, opens up to pre-downloading today.
It’s almost time for ArcheAge to be taken over by Kakao, which means prospective gamers will want to get their affairs in order. As a result, there are a few dates and times that players should pencil into their calendars.
First, there’s the approaching land rush, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. UTC for EU servers and 4:00 p.m. EST for NA servers on Saturday, December 11th. The developers indicate that they will be on the lookout for botting behavior and will take appropriate action, but the realm will not be put into a state of calm during the land rush, nor will the Auroria land rush be staggered, nor will Beanstalk Mansions be blocked.
The message also revealed the names of the new and current servers for EU and NA players, as well as certain updated opening hours for instances such as arenas, Halcyona War, and other raids, which have all been tweaked in response to player input. We also want to warn players that the time for character transfers is running out, since the servers will reopen on December 2nd and Gamigo’s AA service will cease on December 1st.
In the meanwhile, gamers may pre-download the game on the MMORPG subreddit beginning today at 4:00 p.m. EST, assuming they have 100GB(!) of storage space available. They can also look forward to an AMA with XLGames and a Kakao CM on the MMORPG subreddit starting today at 4:00 p.m. EST.

The “archeage freedom festival” is a time when players can pre-download their chosen instance to avoid waiting in line. This year the event will be on October 18th, and the entry times for each instance will be from 9am to 12pm PDT.
